Awarded: Shogo MATSUO

Shogo MATSUO won the presentation award of The 36th Electronics Division Meeting of the Ceramic Society of Japan held in Kawasaki, Japan for his poster “Influence of Residual Strain and Applied Electric Field on Electrocaloric Effect in Epitaxial (Ba, Sr)TiO3 Thin Films”.

Published: Suppression of island growth in PLZT films by two-step technique

Our paper entitled “Significant Suppression of Island Growth in Epitaxial (Pb,La)(Zr,Ti)O3 Thin Films by Two-step Growth Technique” has been published in J. Ceram. Soc. Jpn. The initial low temperature deposition greatly suppressed the island growth of PLZT film, which is necessary for realizing thin film-based electro-optic devices.

Awarded: Shogo MATSUO

Shogo MATSUO won the Excellent Poster Award of The 29th Fall Meeting of The Ceramic Society of Japan held in Hiroshima, Japan for his poster “Field Dependence of Electrocaloric Effect in Ferroelectric (Ba, Sr)TiO3 Thin Films”.
