Our paper entitled “Domain structure of tetragonal Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 nanorods and its size dependence” has been published in Jpn. J. Appl. Phys. The domain structure significantly changes with the nanorod width.
Our paper entitled “Negligible substrate clamping effect on piezoelectric response in (111)-epitaxial tetragonal Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 films” has been published in J. Appl. Phys. The 3D-plot of time-resolved synchrotron XRD was incorporated into the cover image (bottom left).
Our paper entitled “Phase transitions associated with competing order parameters in compressively strained SrTiO3 thin films” has been published in Phys. Rev. B. This work has been in collaboration with Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand), EPFL (Switzerland), Ioffe Physical Technical Institute (Russia), National Institute for Materials Science (Japan), Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan) and Bruker AXS (Japan).
Daisuke ITO won the Best Poster Award in Student Poster Competition of 2015 Joint IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectric, International Symposium on Integrated Functionalities, and Piezoresponse Force Microscopy Workshop (IEEE ISAF-ISIF-PFM 2015) held in Singapore for his poster “Fabrication of Tetragonal Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 Nanorods by Focused Ion Beam and Characterization of the Domain Structure”.
