Our paper entitled “Domain structure of tetragonal Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 nanorods and its size dependence” has been published in Jpn. J. Appl. Phys. The domain structure significantly changes with the nanorod width.

Our paper entitled “Negligible substrate clamping effect on piezoelectric response in (111)-epitaxial tetragonal Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 films” has been published in J. Appl. Phys. The 3D-plot of time-resolved synchrotron XRD was incorporated into the cover image (bottom left).

Daisuke ITO won the Best Poster Award in Student Poster Competition of 2015 Joint IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectric, International Symposium on Integrated Functionalities, and Piezoresponse Force Microscopy Workshop (IEEE ISAF-ISIF-PFM 2015) held in Singapore for his poster “Fabrication of Tetragonal Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 Nanorods by Focused Ion Beam and Characterization of the Domain Structure”.
Our paper entitled “Suppressed polar distortion with enhanced Curie temperature in in-plane 90º-domain structure of a-axis oriented PbTiO3 film” has been published in Appl. Phys. Lett. This work has been in collaboration with Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan), Bruker AXS (Japan), EPFL (Switzerland) and Ioffe Physical Technical Institute (Russia).
